Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also won the National award for the fourth time and was clicked at the airport, leaving for somewhere. At the airport, Kangana engaged in a conversation with the paparazzi. The paparazzi congratulated the actress on her big win and asked her how she felt. She thanked the photographer and spoke about late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore received the Best Hindi film award at the 67th National Film Awards that took place in New Delhi.

The Manikarnika actress said, “Above everything, I think Chhichhore ko award mila hai.” Talking about the late Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana added, “He is being missed. Shayad woh yahi chahte the ki unke kaam ko acknowledgement mile, industry mein sataya na jaaye. Chahe isse yeh aaj prove hua hai ki burai chahe jitni bhi koshish kare, jeet humesha sachai ki hi hoti hai. Aur, Sushant Singh ko inhone kitani bhi koshish ki dabane ki, lekin aaj unhe, unke kaam ko credit bhi mila hai. But, I just hope that woh iss cheez ke liye ruk paate aur woh yeh nirnay itne jaldi na liya hota apne life mein.”

Kangana Ranaut spoke about how truth prevails always. She spoke at length about SSR and hoped that the late actor would be there to witness the moment. The actress also said that maybe Sushant wished that his work in the films receives the acknowledgement it needs. Take a look at the video below:


Meanwhile, Chhichhore producer Sajid Nadiadwala released a statement after the announcement of the 67th National Film Award winners. In his statement, the Chhichhore producer mentioned that they have dedicated the prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, last year. The actor was found dead in Mumbai’s Bandra apartment. His last rites were performed by his family members on June 15. And, SSR’s Chhichhore team had paid their last respects to the actor then.
